Boot

Specifies an order for boot-up devices. The boot-up devices are specified in the Boot priority order list and are

searched for from the top of the list in sequence. By using the [+] or [-] keys, change its order. To change the

device to be booted up, use the [x] key to move the device from the Boot priority order list to the Excluded

from boot order list and vice versa.

When a new hard disk or commercial USB memory which does not require boot-up is connected and such

a device is given high priority in the Boot priority order list, the system may not boot up properly. Be sure

to check the order of the devices in the Boot priority order list after you connect a new device.

Boot priority order

Specifies the order of the boot-up devices. The factory default settings are as follows:

1: IDE 0 : Primary Master Device

2: IDE 1 : Primary Slave Device

3: USB FDC : USB Floppy Disk Driver

4: USB CDROM : USB CDROM Driver

5: USB HDD : USB Memory, etc.
