Restarting/Shutting Down the PS-A from a Remote Server
3.7.1
Description
Restart or shut down the PS-A unit from a server on which Pro-Server is not installed.
The explanation given in this section assumes that the [Proface] folder has been created on drive C.
•
When using this function, LAN2 should be enabled. To enable LAN2, download the LAN driver
from the Pro-face support site "Otasuke Pro!".
•
For the operation procedure of this feature, refer to the online help of the Remote Shutdown
Application.
•
Both applications (for server and client) can be installed on the PS-A to achieve self-control
system. In such a case, however, the PS-A should be connected to a network.
•
If the Remote Shutdown feature is executed, the PS-A unit will be in the Soft OFF Status.
(Power is still supplied to a part of circuits.)
