Software Write Protection


The Brain EJX transmitter offers Software
Write Protection in the form of a Password.

Section 2.1

Activating the Password

Function and setting the password.

The password function is activated when a
new password is entered into the D57: NEW
PASSWORD parameter. (See Figure 2)

Using your BT200 Communicator:

1. Scroll to the D: Aux Set 1 Menu.
2.

Scroll down to D57: NEW
PASSWORD.

3. Press

Enter.

4. Enter your 8-digit password.
5. Press

ENTER twice

6. Confirm the new password is correct

and press F4 (Ok).


When this process is complete the status of
parameter D55: WRT PROTECT becomes
‘Yes’. This indicates that this transmitter is
password protected.

Note: If the status of parameter D55: WRT
PROTECT is ‘NO’, then the Password
Function is not activated.

Section 2.2

Entering a Password to Enable

Parameter Change.

(See Figure 3)

Using your BT200 Communicator:

1. Scroll to the D: Aux Set 1 Menu.
2. Scroll down to D56: WRT ENABLE
3. Enter the Password.
4. Press

ENTER twice

5. Press

F4 (Ok)


Once F4 (Ok) is pressed, Parameter changes
are available for 10 minutes.

After the 10 minutes has elapsed, the
password must be re-entered to continue to
make parameter changes.

De-activating the Password

Enter your password to allow parameter
changes (

). During the 10 minutes

parameter changes are allowed, follow the
procedure in Section 2.1. When prompted to
enter the new password, enter eight spaces.
Complete the procedure.

When this process is complete the status of
parameter D55: WRT PROTECT becomes
