AINTENANCE
3. Remove the existing paper roll or
empty spindle (as appropriate) from
the paper roll bracket, as shown in
Figures 6-3 and 6-3A.
4. Take the empty spindle and insert
it into the new paper roll, as shown
in Figure 6-4.
5. Place the new paper roll back on to
the paper bracket ensuring that the
paper feeds from the TOP of the
roll, as shown in Figures 6-5 and 6-
6.
6. Insert the edge of the paper roll into
the printer take-up slot, as shown
in Figure 6-7. The printer will
automatically grip and pull the
paper into the paper path. If the
paper feeds automatically, skip to
Step 9; if the paper does not feed
automatically, continue with Step
7.

**WARNING**
Do not pull the paper backward
through the printer. This may leave
paper fragments that can cause pa-
per jams.
