Chapter 3 Calibrating the Probes
3.1 CALIBRATING THE RDO PRO OPTICAL DO SENSOR
3.1.1 Calibration Options
From the Con TROLL PRO Main menu, select Calibrate, then RDO PRO. You will
have three options:
• Saturation—Choose this option if you want to do a one- or two- point calibration.
• Concentration—Choose this option if you want to calibrate your RDO PRO
concentration values to a concentration obtained using another method.
• Defaults—Choose this option if you want to restore the default calibration.
3.1.2 One-point Calibration (100% Saturation)
1. Remove storage cap from top of calibration chamber and replace with the
calibration cap (cap with vent hole).
Note: The water temperature
should be similar to the
sample temperature. 2. Fill the calibration chamber to the lower fill line with approximately 10 mL water.
