5. Attach hoses to valves and secure with clamps (may not be
needed with very low flow rates).
6. To provide stability, attach spike to base of flow cell and press
into the ground. Can be secured at a small angle from vertical
(< 30°) to allow bubbles to self-purge from the cell.
7. Remove the restrictor and insert the calibrated MP TROLL into
the cylinder. Tighten threads to attach (not too tight).

guiDeLines AnD preCAutions
• Flow is controlled by the pump, not the 3-way ball valve. The
valve may be used to divert flow for sample collection.

• To decrease air bubbles in the system, tape the adapter fittings
before installation.
• To prevent interference with sensors, ensure that adapter fit-
tings do not protrude beyond the inside wall of the flow cell.

Inc. readily available at hardware stores and plumbing supply
houses.
• In-Situ's Flow-Sense low-flow software calculates volume auto-
matically.
• Clean and decontaminate the inner stainless steel sleeve after
use. Re-install, either side up.
