Controls:
Power On/Off (14, *9) Button
Press and hold the power on/off button ( ) for at least 2 seconds. You
will hear a confirming melody to indicate the unit is on. To turn the unit
off, press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds.
Adjusting the Volume
With either transceiver powered on, press the respective Up
Channel/Volume button ( ) to increase volume and the Down
Channel/Volume button ( ) to decrease volume. The display will indicate
the current volume level between 1 and 7 by the small number in the icon
( U 05 ).

ceiver and the fixed base station
transceiver are the same, except
the base station also has a
Weather Station Alert (NOAA)
capability, plus it can charge the
Mobile transceiver batteries when
this unit is so equipped. In the
following discussions, the base
station transceiver controls, etc.
are highlighted with an asterisk.
