Water softening system
The dishwasher requires soft water to ensure proper washing results.
Your appliance is equipped with an internal water softening system.
However, if you have a household water softening system, you will not
need to use this softening system.

The required amount of salt depends on the degree of hardness of your
tap water (See table for more information).
For the water softening system to function properly, it will need to use
dishwasher water softener salt .The amount of salt dispensed can be set
from “H:00” to “ H:07”. Salt is not required at

H:00 (this is the default

factory setting).

Open the door (for hidden controls only).

Turn the unit on using the

ON/OFF button .

Hold down the “

A

” button and press START button until the display

indicates “H:00”.
Release both buttons.

Press

“B” to select the desired setting.

To change the setting,

Press “

C

” button to select desired setting.

Save the selected language by pressing the

START button.

Close the door (for hidden controls only).

NOTE: For information on how to use the water hardness test strip,
provided in the detergent sample kit, please see below.

Dip briefly the test strip into tap water for one
second, shake off excess water compare after 1
min.
