If Command View TL is not operating, the support tickets will be stored on the server, ready to be sent
to Command View TL when it is available.
Setting service configurations
You can set up and control the behavior of the TapeAssure service by changing parameter values in
the configuration file \config\sta_service.cfg in the installation directory.
NOTE:
In most cases, it is only necessary to specify the Command View TL management station IP address.
You can leave the other values in their default.
NOTE:
If the value entered is invalid, TapeAssure will continue using the previous valid value. If there are
not previous values, TapeAssure will use the default value.
If TapeAssure detects an invalid value for any of the configuration keys in the configuration file,
TapeAssure will modify the configuration file to restore the values to the previous valid or default
values.
