In Case of Difficulty

If any problem should occur during operation of your Alertmaster
AM-RX2 Remote Receiver, review the “Symptom and Remedy” list
below. Refer to the “In Case of Difficulty” chapter in your
Alertmaster AM-6000 Operating Instructions for other difficulties
not listed here. Make sure no part of the Alertmaster Notification
System is on or near metal surfaces or electronic equipment.
Should the difficulty persist, contact Ameriphone or your
authorized dealer for assistance.

Symptom

Lamp control button
doesn’t work.

Receiver does not
activate in conjunction
with base unit.

Cause and Remedy

Lamp is not turned on prior to
plugging into AM-RX2. Turn
the lamp switch on the lamp
so it is on. Replace bulb if
necessary.

The DIP switches may be
incorrectly set. The DIP
Switches on the underside
of the AM-RX2 should
match the switch settings
on the base of the AM-6000
as in Fig. 3.

WARNING! DO NOT open the unit. You may be exposed
to hazardous high voltage electricity.
