Specifying "CU:LDEV" in hex used by SVP or Remote Web Console.

Example for LDEV# 260 01: 04

Specifying "LDEV" in decimal used by the RAID Manager inqraid command.

Example for LDEV# 260 260

Specifying "LDEV" in hex used by the RAID Manager inqraid command.

Example for LDEV# 260 0x104
HORCM_LDEV format can be used for XP1024/XP128 Disk Array and later. The LDEV# is converted
to "Port#, Targ#, Lun#" mapping to this LDEV internally, because the RAID storage system needs
to specify "Port#, Targ#, Lun#" for the target device. This feature is XP12000 Disk Array/NSC
and XP1024/XP128 Disk Array microcode dependent; if HORCM fails to start, use HORCM_DEV.

(6) HORCM_LDEVG

The HORCM_LDEVG parameter defines the device group information that the RAID Manager
instance reads. For details about device group, refer to the manual HP P9000 RAID Manager User
Guide
.
The following values are defined.

Copy group: specifies a name of copy group. This is equivalent to the dev_group of
HORCM_DEV and HORCM_LDEV parameters.
RAID Manager operates by using the information defined here.

ldev_group: Specifies a name of device group that the RAID Manager instance reads.

Serial#: Specifies the storage system serial number.

(7) HORCM_INSTP

This parameter is used to specify "pathID" for Continuous Access Synchronous link as well as
"HORCM_INST". Path ID must be specified from 1 to 255. If you need to specify "0" for the path
ID, use 'HORCM_INST'.

HORCM_INSTP
dev_group ip_address service pathID
VG01 HSTA horcm 1
VG02 HSTA horcm 2

PathID can be specified for Continuous Access Synchronous. PathID can be specified for Continuous
Access Synchronous. It also can be specified for pathID when connecting among VSPs on Continuous
Access Journal. PathID is used for the paircreate command and pairresync -swapp[s], so it must
be specified at the both P-VOL and S-VOL sites. And pathID is used for the paircrate command on
Continuous Access Journal, so it must be specified the same pathID at the both P-VOL and S-VOL
sites. If PathID is not specified, it is used as CU free.

(8)HORCM_ALLOW_INST

This parameter is used to restrict the users using the virtual command device. Allowing IP address
and port numbers are following.

For IPv4HORCM_ALLOW_INST#ip_address service158.214.135.113 34000158.214.135.114 34000

For IPv6HORCM_ALLOW_INST#ip_address servicefe80::209:6bff:febe:3c17 34000

Legend

If CCI clients not defined HORCM_ALLOW_INST, HORCM instance starting up is rejected by SCSI
check condition (SKEY=0x05, ASX=0xfe) and CCI cannot be started up.
