4. The View Contents Wizard Filter Conditions page is displayed. Use this page to modify/add condition(s)
that would be used to specify the kind of information that will be displayed in this view and click on the
Finish button.
5. The View dialog box is displayed again. To modify the columns that will be displayed in the view, click on
the Columns tab and select the required column check boxes.
6. A view can be displayed in different formats. Click on the Display tab to configure the default display
format for the view.
7. Click on the Options tab to configure the execution options for the view.
8. Click on the OK button to complete the modification procedure.
9-1-3-2 Modifying a SQL-based Local View
Follow the steps listed below to modify a SQL-based View:
1. Click on the Views option in the Manage menu.
2. The Views dialog box is displayed. Select the user-defined SQL-based View to modify from the Available
views list and click on the Properties button.
3. The corresponding Edit SQL-based View dialog box is displayed with the General tab page.

4. Modify the View Name and Description, if required.
5. To modify or change the query, click on the SQL tab and make the required changes. Use the Verify SQL
button to verify the SQL query entered. If the SQL based View is displayed as either a column chart or a
pie chart then you must always check for the properties of chart type and review it if there are any
changes.
6. To change the display format of the View click on the Display tab and change the Default Display settings
for the SQL-based View.
7. Click on the Options tab to configure the execution options for the view.
8. Click on the OK button to complete the modification process.
NOTE: The view must be closed while changing the SQL condition.
