Select the CLPR you want to migrate the parity groups to, right-click, and select Paste Parity Group. The

selected parity groups are added to the CLPR’s resource list.

Click Apply.

Partition Definition pane (SLPR selected)

When an SLPR is selected on the Partition Definition pane, the pane displays the following:

Tree: Displays SLPRs and CLPRs in the disk array.

SLPR resource list: Displays information about the selected SLPR’s resources (CLPRs and ports). If SLPR0

is selected, all resources that have not yet been allocated to SLPRs are displayed.
No.: Line number.
Resource Type: Type of SLPR resources: Cache Partition or Port.
Name: CLPR or port name.
Properties: CLPR’s capacity and number of parity groups allocated to the specified CLPR.
Information: Channel adapter name, if the resource type is Port. If the port is available with

Just-in-Time, Just in Time is displayed on the right of the channel adapter name.

• Status: SLPR status. When you change an SLPR, a description of the change appears in this column.

When you click Apply or Cancel, the description is removed.

Detail for SLPR: Displays the SLPR’s settings. You can change the SLPR’s settings.
SLPR Name: Up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
CU(* in use): CU number in the specified SLPR (00 - 3F). An asterisk (*) indicates the SSID is

registered to the CU. To delete a CU from the specified SLPR and return it to the Available CU list,

select the CU, and click Delete.

Available CU(* in use): All CU numbers that are not in the specified SLPR. To add a CU to the

specified SLPR, select the CU, and click Add. An asterisk (*) indicates the SSID is registered to the

CU. You can select up to 64 CUs into which the SSIDs are registered or not.
SLPR: SLPR to the CU belongs to.
SSID(SLPR): SSID if the SSID is registered into a CU. The SLPR the SSID belongs to appears

between parentheses on the right of the SSID.
