Possible reasons:

Storage systems are not added for monitoring in the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance

The HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service might not be active

The management server where the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance is installed might
not be accessible

Solution:
1.

Add at least one storage system for monitoring.

2.

Re-login to the SPoG of the management group through a new browser session and verify if
the Performance tab is visible.

If the issue persists:
1.

Stop and then start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.

2.

Re-login to the SPoG of the management group through a new browser session and verify if
the Performance tab is visible.

If the issue still persists:
1.

Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service followed by the HP P6000 Command
View service and then the HP MIF service.

2.

Start the HP MIF service followed by the HP P6000 Command View service and then the HP
P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.

3.

Re-login to the SPoG of the management group through a new browser session and verify if
the Performance tab is visible.

The HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance does not appear in the Navigation pane - Settings
point of view.

Possible reasons:

The management server where the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance is installed is
moved to a different management group

The HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service might not be active

The management server where the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance is installed is not
accessible

Solution:
1.

Login to the SPoG of the management group to which the management server belongs where
the HP P6000 Performance Advisor is installed.

OR

Move the management server back to the existing management group.

2.

Re-login to the SPoG using the existing browser instance and verify if the HP P6000 Performance
Advisor instance is appearing in the Navigation pane - Settings point of view.

3.

If the instance is still not visible, re-login through a new browser session and verify.

If the issue persists:
1.

Stop and then start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.

2.

Re-login to the SPoG using the existing browser instance and verify if the HP P6000 Performance
Advisor instance is appearing in the Navigation pane - Settings point of view.

If the issue still persists:
1.

Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service followed by the HP MIF service.

2.

Start the HP MIF service followed by the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.

3.

Re-login to the SPoG using the existing browser instance and verify if the HP P6000 Performance
Advisor instance is appearing in the Navigation pane - Settings point of view.
