Creating a LUSE volume

Prerequisites

Gather the following information:

The name of the target host

The target volumes (LUSE volumes or basic volumes that are already allocated to the host).

Tasks to complete beforehand:

Create volumes to be added

1.

On the Resources tab, select Hosts.

2.

Expand the tree and select the target OS.

3.

Select the target host from the list of hosts, and from the displayed list of volumes, select the LUSE
volume or basic volume, and then click Create LUSE Volume.

4.

Click Add Volumes.

5.

Select volumes to be added, and then click Show Plan.

6.

Verify the plan details and click Submit. The plan is submitted as a task.

7.

Verify that task completion in the list of tasks.

Information about the created LUSE volume can be verified in the list of volumes for the target host
on the Resources tab.
