Table 36 Remote Copy I/O Statistics (continued)

Description

Statistic

The number of journals at the primary storage system.

M-JNL Total Number of Journal

The average transfer rate for journals in the primary storage system.
The unit is kilobytes per second.

M-JNL Average Transfer Rate

The remote I/O process time on the primary storage system. The unit
is milliseconds.

M-JNL Average RIO Response

The number of asynchronous remote I/Os per second at the secondary
storage system.

R-JNL Asynchronous RIO count

The number of journals at the secondary storage system.

R-JNL Total Number of Journal

The average transfer rate for journals in the secondary storage system.
The unit is kilobytes per second.

R-JNL Average Transfer Rate

The remote I/O processing time on the secondary storage system.
The unit is milliseconds.

R-JNL Average RIO Response

M-JNL

The data usage rate for master journals. The unit is percent.

Data Used Rate

The metadata usage rate for master journals. The unit is percent.

Meta Data Used Rate

R-JNL

The data usage rate for restore journals. The unit is percent.

Data Used Rate

The metadata usage rate for restore journals. The unit is percent.

Meta Data Used Rate

If the primary site in the multi-target configuration combines three XP Continuous Access Journal
sites, two or more mirrors are set in MCU. The following table describes data displayed in Initial
Copy and Asynchronous Copy in the Monitor Data box.

Table 37 I/O Statistics in Initial and Asynchronous Copy with Two or More Mirrors Set in MCU

Description

Statistic

Initial Copy

The averate hit rate for all mirrors. The unit is percent.

Initial Copy Hit Rate

Integrated value of transfer rate for initial copy operations in all mirrors. The
unit is kilobytes per second.

Average Transfer Rate

Asynchronous Copy *

Integrated value of asynchronous remote I/Os in all mirrors

M JNL Asynchronous RIO count

Integrated value of the number of journals in all mirrors

M JNL Total Number of Journal

Integrated value of transfer rate for journals in all mirrors. The unit is kilobytes
per second.

M JNL Average Transfer Rate

The average remote I/O process time of all mirrors. The unit is milliseconds.

M JNL Average RIO Response

*: The asynchronous copy information per mirror is displayed in R-JNL. Note that it is impossible to reference the initial
copy information per mirror.

If the journal group attribute is Master/Restore, only the secondary storage system data is displayed.
The following table describes data displayed in Asynchronous Copy and R-JNL in the Monitor Data
box.
