Library management
● I just received a message from someone who has shared files with me, but when I look in my
Library I don't see the Share event.
Answer: Try pressing your browser's refresh/reload button to ensure that the page is up to date.
● I cannot offer to other people shared files that I have received but do not own.
Answer: This is an intentional feature, to limit the distribution of files created by the sharing
originator. If you want to use the files, you can print them or download them to your local disk.
● I cannot delete some Share events.
Answer: You can delete only events that you own.
● I have a file in a Share event in my Library that is gray, and I can do nothing with it.
Answer: This indicates that the owner of the Share event has deleted the file, in which case it is
true that you can do nothing with it.
● I cannot upload any more files to the Library.
Answer: Your quota in the Library is 5 GB. Once you reach that limit, you cannot upload any
more files until you free some space by deleting files from your Library.
Recommendation: If you are scanning to your Library using an eMFP, consider modifying the
quality/resolution of the job to decrease the file size, so that each file requires less space in your
Library.
