The following table describes the rows within the Uplink Port information table in the Bay Summary

screen.

Column Description

Port

The uplink port number

WWN

Either the World Wide Name assigned to the port or the Server Factory

Default, if not assigning WWNs

SAN Fabric

Name of the SAN Fabric connected to the uplink port

Port Speed

Speed setting of the uplink port

Connector Status

Status of the uplink port

Connected To

MAC address of the device that this port is connected to on the other end.
The device must support LLDP to display this information.

The following table describes the rows within the Server Port Information table in the Bay Summary

Screen. Click Less < to display only the Port, Server Blade, SAN Fabric, Connected To, and Profile

columns. Click More > to display all columns.

Administrative module removal

The Remove from Domain feature enables users to remove an interconnect module from the Virtual
Connect domain without having to delete the entire domain, or having the bay permanently configured

for a specific interconnect module type.
To temporarily remove the module from the domain, do not click Remove from Domain. Simply re-install it

into the enclosure.
To permanently remove the module from the Virtual Connect domain be sure the following conditions are

met:

NOTE:

The attachment of stacking link cables to a module does not prevent a Remove from

Domain action.

VC-Enet conditions:

The user must have Domain privileges.

o

The module must be physically removed from the bay.
