NSTALLATION
Installing Tray-Load / Slot-Load Type Drives:
1. Power on the computer.
2. Plug the mini-B type connector on the USB data cable to the back of
the drive
3. Connect the Type-A connector to an available USB port on the
computer.
4. Check the LED power indicator, “Blue” LED indicate sufficient power
for the drive, or “Red” indicate insufficient power
5. If LED is “Red”,
a) If your drive comes with a Y-type cable, simply plug the
secondary connector into another USB port on the computer
for additional power
b) If your drive has an Auxiliary Power Cable, simply remove the
cap on end of main DATA cable connector, insert the mini-B
plug, then connect the other end (Type A) to another USB port.
Note: If two ports are required, please DO NOT unplug either of the two connectors.
