To remove a disc (Top-Load type drive):
(1) While the DVD writer is powered up, first press the STOP button
on top cover to stop disc from spinning.
(2) Slide OPEN latch to the right to release the top cover.
(3) Carefully, by holding the disc edge, lift the disc off the spindle
platform.
(4) Press top cover down till it is securely locked into place
