To remove a DIMM
CAUTION Handling a DIMM without wearing a grounded, antistatic device might damage the DIMM. Do
not touch the contacts on the side of the DIMM.
1. Turn off the device and unplug the power cord.
2. Open the print cartridge door and the left side panel.
3. To unlock the cam latches, press them outward (1). Grasp the DIMM on the edge, gently
pull straight out, and remove the DIMM from the device (2).
Note Store the DIMM in an antistatic bag.
