2. Go to the Zoning tab to create and assign zone groups. Key tasks include:
a.
Set the multi-initiator mode and, if multiple tape devices are included in the solution,
enable port-splitting mode (optional).
b. Create the zone groups.
•
For deployments with shared SAS storage enclosures and tape libraries, create
switch-port zone groups.
•
For deployments with zoned SAS storage enclosures, create drive-bay zone groups.
c. Assign zone groups to servers.
3. Go to the Maintain tab to capture the configuration for safekeeping. HP strongly recommends
this step, especially in single-domain configurations.
