Limitation 1: When the following sequence of events occurs:

A virus file is created inside the snap root
•
A snap is taken
•
The original file is renamed or moved to another path
•
The original file is read
The quarantine utility cannot locate the snap file because the link was formed with the new filename
assigned after the snap was taken.
Limitation 2: When the following sequence of events occurs:
•
A virus file is created inside the snap root
•
A snap is taken
•
The original file is renamed or moved to another path
•
The snap file is read
The quarantine utility cannot track the original file because the link was not created with its name.
That file cannot be listed, reset, moved, or deleted by the quarantine utility.
Limitation 3: When the following sequence of events occurs:
•
A virus file is created inside the snap root
•
The original file is read
•
A snap is taken
•
The original file is renamed or moved to another path
The quarantine utility displays both the snap name (which still has the original name), and the new
filename, although they are same file.
