Set environment variable

Windows NT/2000/2003 only

Description

The setenv command sets an environment variable within a RAID Manager
command.

Syntax

RM_command –x setenv

variable value

Arguments

RM_command

Any general RM command.

variable

Specifies the environment variable to be set or deleted.

value

Specifies the value or character string of the
environment variable to be set.

Restrictions

Set environment variable prior to starting RM, unless you are using
interactive mode.

Changing an environment variable after an execution error of a RAID
Manager command is invalid.

Example

This example changes the execution environment from HORC to
HOMRCF

by using raidscan to change the HORCC_MRCF

environment variable.

raidscan[HORC]: -x setenv HORCC_MRCF 1

raidscan[MRCF]:

raidscan[MRCF]: -x usetenv HORCC_MRCF

raidscan[HORC]:
