iMac G5, 20-inch Troubleshooting - 7 Amendment: iMac G5 Repair Extension Program for
Eligible Products
1. The iMac G5 Repair Extension Program applies to 20-inch iMac G5 systems that:
• Were sold worldwide between September 2004 and June 2005
• Feature a 20-inch display and 1.8 GHz G5 processor
• Have an EMC (Electro-magnetic compatibility) number of 2008, which is printed in
the lower right corner of the product serial number tag).
• Have serial numbers where the first five (5) digits fall into the ranges noted below: -
– W8435xxxxxx - W8522xxxxxx
– QP435xxxxxx - QP522xxxxxx
– CK435xxxxxx - CK522xxxxxx
– YD435xxxxxx - YD522xxxxxx
2. If the computer is has an EMC code of 2008 and exhibits the symptoms noted above,
proceed to the next page.
