Supply Issues
Overview
iMac G5 first-generation 20-inch iMac G5 models that have previously had a replacement
PFC 100-240VAC power supply installed and now experience symptoms covered by the
iMac G5 Repair Extension Program for Power Supply Issues may be eligible for a repair
extension if the criteria provided below are met.
Symptoms
The iMac G5 REP for Video and Power Issues amendment covers 20-inch systems that
previously received a replacement PFC 100-240VAC power supply under the iMac G5
REP for Video and Power Issues and now exhibit one of the following power-related
issues:
• System will not start up after the power button is pressed
• System shuts down intermittently
