Wide Open Throttle Switch Part Number 600-1

This product is designed for use with QFT’s Q & P Series, PROFORM™ carburetors and Holley® HP Series model 4150 carburetors.
The installation requires the use of QFT’s adjustable secondary cam bracket part number 63-2 (as shown below on the secondary shaft). Note: This bracket is included
on Quick Fuel Technology’s Q & P Series carburetors as well as PROFORM™ carburetors.
Check to be certain the mounting bosses are threaded. If they are not, the pilot holes must be tapped to 8-32 thread. Use a tap
lubrication fluid to keep your tap from loading up with zinc which is a very soft material.
Installation is straight forward, position the switch as shown, locate the spacers behind the holes, insert and tighten the screws. Prior
to installation, look at the wiring schematic embossed into the plastic housing for wiring. You can either use the normally open or
normally closed method. You will only use two of the three terminals.

Check the switch for engagement at wide open. There should be an audible click or use a volt/ohm meter to confirm activation. If the
switch doesn’t activate, loosen the bracket and switch screws to realign if necessary. Also check the secondary bracket for alignment.
We have supplied a couple extra idle speed screws in this package so you should be able to come up with combination that will
engage the switch at wide open.
