1. Before any removal of the old sub frame begins, disconnect and remove the
battery, but you knew that.
2. The vehicle should be on a level surface before you start. Jack up and
properly support the vehicle's frame.
3. Remove the front wheels and all front suspension components, including
brakes, spindles, shocks, springs, upper and lower control arms, steering
linkage, steering box, and sway bar.
4. Clean grease and flammable liquids and grind off rust and paint around upper
shock mounts.
