H EATING D EGREE- D AYS
The Energy EM displays daily degree-days, total degree-days during the
period, and the average heating degree-days per day during the period for
both temperature and wind chill. (See “Period” on page 11 for a discussion of
the period.) The default heating degree-days base threshold is 65˚ F (18˚ C). You
may change this threshold if desired. You may display heating degree-days in
Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Viewing Heating Degree-Days
1. To display the daily heating degree-days sum, press HEAT’G D-DAYS.
The daily heating degree-days sum appears on the right of the display. The
base threshold setting appears on the left of the display.
D AILY H EATING D EGREE- D AYS
The daily heating degree-days sum represents the total heating degree-days
since the last time you (or AutoClear) cleared heating degree-days. For
instructions on clearing daily heating degree-days, see “Clearing Daily
Heating Degree-Days Sum” on page 25.
2. To display the total heating degree-days for the period, press HEAT’G D-DAYS again.
The total heating degree-days for the period appear on the right of the dis-
play. The base threshold setting appears on the left of the display.
