Step 4: Network Settings
Refer to the Network Quick Setup Guide or the network settings in the
manual for details on configuring the Network Settings. Make sure that the
DVR is plugged directly into your internet router or modem.

The IP address/DNS server information can automatically be
obtained by the DVR if it is connected to the router/modem. If
automatically obtaining the IP Address /DNS server, make sure that
you have selected “Obtain an IP address automatically” and
“Obtain DNS server address automatically.”

If manually entering the IP Address /DNS server, make sure that
you have selected “Use the following IP address” and “Use the
following DNS address” and enter the correct information.
Once you have changed the settings to fit your needs, select Next.
