Use Single BCV Entry – also related to motherboard BIOS settings
(troubleshooting)

Stop on Error – Enabled by default. If disabled, the host adapter BIOS menu will
bypass array or device errors when booting the system.
•
NCQ – enable/disable NCQ (native command queuing)
Highlight Controller from the toolbar, select Mode Select and press Enter.
Controller -Mode Select
• RAID adapter mode:
This is the standard RAID controller mode.
• Mixed mode:
All unused single disks will be set as Legacy mode and reported to OS as single
disks.
• Non-RAID adapter mode:
All disks attached to the controller will be set as Legacy mode and reported to OS
as single disks.
Note: Make sure you have backup the data on the original RAID arry before using
the Non-RAID adapter mode.
