2 Operation
This diagram shows a VS-800 Series switcher. Note that some keys have dual functions and on other
models some of the keys are absent.

2.1 Power-Up
Plug the flying lead of mains power adaptor into the “+12V DC” power input connector. Plug the adaptor
itself into the mains supply.
2.2 Manual Switching
To select camera 1,2..., press the associated camera key 1,2...
2.3 Auto Sequencing
While holding down the SELECT key, press the AUTO (Camera 2) key. This will toggle AUTO sequencing
mode on or off.
2.4 Dual Monitor Switchers
In the case of dual monitor switchers (VS-800 Series), make sure that the desired monitor (A or B) is
selected prior to manual switching or auto sequencing. The monitor LED that is illuminated indicates the
monitor that the camera select keys act upon.
2.5 Restore Factory Defaults
The factory defaults may be restored by pressing the SELECT key while turning on the power, and keeping
it pressed for 10 seconds.
2.6 Reset Camera Titles
If the SELECT key is kept on for another 10 seconds following restoration of factory defaults, all the camera
titles will be reset to “Camera 1”, “Camera 2” etc.
