Enter spaces after words
• To enter a space after a word, thereby accepting the
word and proceeding to the next word, press
.
Enter text using Multi-tap
Activate multi-tap
• While at any text entry screen, press and hold until
ABC , ABC , or abc appears in the upper right corner of the
display.
Enter text
• The conventional method for entering text is called multi-
tap, which requires up to four key presses for each letter,
depending on the letter that you wish to enter.
• For example, to enter “z,” press four times in
succession. To enter an “a” however, only one press of
is required.
• Once the desired letter appears in the display, pause
briefly until the line beneath the letter disappears.
Continue to enter other letters as desired.
• Press to enter a space and continue on to the
next word.
• Press to enter a period.
