Playing back a Tape
✤ To watch a tape you recorded.
✤ Playback function works in PLAYER mode only.
✤ There are two ways to watch a tape;
■ To watch with on the LCD : recommended for outdoor use.
■ To watch with on a TV monitor : recommended for indoor use.
✤ View a tape using the LCD when a TV is not available.
✤ View a tape using a TV monitor while indoors.
✤ To play a tape back, the TV must feature a compatible color system.
✤ We recommend that you use the AC Power Adapter as the power source of
the camcorder.
Connecting to a TV with Audio and Video input jacks
✤ Use the Audio/Video cable supplied with your camcorder.
■ The yellow plug : Video
■ The white plug : Audio(L)
■ The red plug : Audio(R)
Notes
You can use the S-VIDEO cable (SCD70, not supplied with SCD67) to obtain better
quality pictures if you have a S-VIDEO connector on your TV.
Even if you use S-video cable, you must still connect an audio cable.
While playing back on a TV screen, close the LCD panel. Otherwise, picture distortion may occur.
