Rename Groups
Use this option to rename a group in your Contacts list.
1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ),
then press and for Rename Group.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the group that you
want to rename, then press .
The Rename Group screen appears in the display
containing the current name of the group with a flashing
cursor at the end of the name.
3. Press the Option (left) soft key ( ) to display a pop-up
menu containing the following options:
• T9 WORD
• ABC
• Symbol
• 123
T9 WORD is highlighted.
4. Use the navigation keys to choose the text entry mode
you want to use.
5. Press . The mode is changed.
6. Press the key to delete characters individually, or
press and hold the key to clear all characters in the
display.
7. Enter a new group name using the keypad, then press
.
