Face detection: Allows the camera to automatically adjust
settings according to the facial features detected in the subjects.
Normal mode automatically sets the camera exposure to suit the
face in the Focus Field; Smile Shot mode takes a picture when
the subject smiles; and Blink Detection (Expert modes only)
takes multiple shots if the subject blinks. (Available in Beauty
face and Expert modes)

Detection Display: Turn this feature On to see what kind of
subject the camera detects. Press the shutter button halfway to
see the kind of subject detected. (Smart Mode Suggest and
Auto modes)

Enhance face: Turn this feature On for the camera to make
enhancement adjustments automatically when photographing
faces. (Beauty face mode only)

Sound: Select whether to record background sounds before or
after a camera shot is taken. (Sound & Shot mode only)

Save as: Save a photo in rich tone either by itself or with the
original photo. Select either Rich tone and original, or Rich tone
only. (Rich tone mode only)

Distraction Sounds: Plays a sound just before a photo is
taken in order to get a child’s attention. (Kids shot mode only)

WB (light source): Adjust the color of photos to be more
realistic by changing the White Balance according to the light
source of the subject. Options are Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, and
Flourescent_H. (Available in Expert modes)

Focus mode: Change the camera focus mode depending on
the distance of the subject. Options are Auto focus (for most
distances) and Macro (for very close subjects). (Available in
Expert modes)

Drive mode: Select a burst mode to capture multiple shots of
a moving subject. Options are Single shot (normal camera
operation), Continuous shot (hold the shutter button down to
keep taking shots), and AE BKT (the camera takes multiple shots
at different exposure levels). (Available in Expert modes)

Focus area: Change the focus area of the camera if the
camera does not focus on the subject you wish to photograph.
Options are Center AF (focus on the subject in the center of the
display) and Multi AF (focus on one or more of nine possible
areas). (Available in Expert modes)

Quality: Set the quality level of photos, which are saved in the
JPEG format. Higher quality photos require more memory.
Options are Superfine, Fine, and Normal. (Available in Expert
modes)
