Work Email application to wirelessly synchronize your
email, Contacts, and Task information directly with your
company’s Exchange server.

Setting Up a Work Email

1.

Press

Read the onscreen information and tap

continue.

3.

Enter your

Email address

User ID

, and

Password

information, then tap

. Consult your Network

Administrator for further details.

User ID

: typically your network access username.

Password

: typically your network access

password (Case-sensitive).

If prompted to provide additional detailed
information, tap

OK

.

5.

Enter a

Domain

and Exchange

Server

information

and tap

.

If your network requires SSL encryption, tap the

Use SSL

field to place a checkmark in the box

and activate this additional level of security.

If your exchange server requires this feature,
leaving this field unchecked, can prevent
connection.

6.

Read the onscreen activation disclaimer and tap

OK

. The first screen visible after activation is the

Exchange ActiveSync Settings menu.

Important:

This Outlook application does not utilize
Microsoft

®

ActiveSync

to synchronize the device

to your remote Exchange Server. This
synchronization is done wirelessly over the air
(OTA) and not via either a direct connection.

Note:

Signal interruptions or incorrect username or password
information can cause completion issues.

Important:

You can synchronize over the air (not directly) with
an Exchange Server running Microsoft Exchange
Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Microsoft
Exchange Server 2007.

Note:

You can only have one Work Email (Microsoft
Exchange ActiveSync) account active on your device.
