Joy Stick is not responding
accurately If your Joy Stick is not responding
accurately, it may be necessary to
calibrate the Joy Stick.
• From the Home screen, press the
Fn key and the P key at the same
time.
• Do not touch the Joy Stick.
• Wait until the Calibration is Done
confirmation is displayed on your
phone.
• Press the OK soft key to return to
the Home screen.
“PIN code” displays • You are using your phone for the
first time. You must enter the
Personal Identification Number
(PIN) supplied with the SIM card.
• The PIN check feature was
enabled. Each time the phone is
switched on, the PIN has to be
entered.

“PIN code” displays
(continued) • To disable this feature, select Start
➔ More ➔ Settings ➔ Security ➔
Disable SIM PIN, and enter the PIN.
“PUK Required” displays The PIN code was entered incorrectly
three times in succession and the SIM
card is now blocked. Enter the PUK
supplied by your service provider.
I forgot the password, PIN,
reset password, or PUK
codes If you forget, lose or change the lock code,
contact your phone dealer. If you forget or
lose a PIN or PUK code, or if you did not
received such a code, you will need to
reset your phone. See “Resetting the
Phone - Power Off” on page 28. For
information about passwords, contact
your access point provider, for example, a
commercial Internet Service Provider
(ISP), service provider, or network
operator.
