How will I know when my phone is ready for data service?

You can receive calls while data is active. You can
place an outgoing call anytime, but it will interrupt any
in-progress data session.

When is my data connection active?

Your connection is active when data is being
transferred. Outgoing calls are allowed. When active,

When is my data connection dormant?

If your phone receives no data for 10 seconds, the
connection goes dormant. When the connection is
dormant, you can make and receive voice calls. (The
connection may become active again quickly.) If your
phone receives no data for an extended period, the
connection will terminate.
