Unpacking the Switch
To unpack an AT-GS900/16 or an AT-GS900/24 switch, perform the
following procedure:
1. Remove all components from the shipping package.
Note
Store the packaging material in a safe location. You must use the
original shipping material if you need to return the unit to Allied
Telesis.
2. Place the switch on a level, secure surface.
3. Ensure the following hardware components are included in your switch
package. If any item is missing or damaged, contact your Allied Telesis
sales representative for assistance.
ˆ One AT-GS900/16 or AT-GS900/24 Fanless Gigabit Ethernet
switch
ˆ Two rack/wall mounting brackets
ˆ Eight flathead Phillips screws for mounting brackets to the switch
ˆ Four screws and anchors for attaching the switch to the wall
ˆ Four screws for attaching the switch to the rack
ˆ Four self-adhesive rubber feet
ˆ AC power cord
