Removing or Replacing Media Converter Line Cards
All of the Converteon media converter line cards are hot-swappable and
can be removed or installed while the chassis is powered on.
To remove or replace a media converter line card, perform the following
procedure:
Caution
Be sure to observe all standard electrostatic discharge (ESD)
precautions, such as wearing an antistatic wrist strap, to avoid
damaging the device. A line card can be damaged by static
electricity.
1. Label and disconnect the network cables from the card.
