During Restart operations, VLAN Manager may encounter a timeout error and
display the message: "Unable to communicate. Confirm SNMP settings or login, and
if the network is functional." To prevent this error message from reappearing, go to
File -> Properties and increase the Retry Timeout value.

The AT-8500 series does not allow multiple manager sessions. As such, if an active
manager session is detected during a Restart operation, VLAN Manager will display
the message: "The system has detected an active manager session. Please end the
active manager session before restarting the device."
•
A Restart operation cannot be performed using an SNMPv3 account that has no
write access to the atiStkSwSysReset object.
