The system LEDs on the left side of front panel display general status
information about the entire switch. The system LEDs are defined in
Table 4.

LED State Description
PWR Green System power is ON.
OFF System power is OFF.
RPS
Optional Redundant Power
Supply Unit Green Redundant power supply unit is ON.
OFF Redundant power supply unit is OFF or
is not connected.
FAULT Green The switch or management software has
malfunctioned. (Refer to Chapter 3,
Troubleshooting on page 60 for instructions on
how to determine and repair the problem.)
Flashing Green The switch is loading its operating software,
running diagnostic tests, writing messages to
FLASH, or downloading files using XMODEM.
