To Install Shade and Glass for 13-9602 (Figure 4)
Component Parts
I Socket Assembly
J Shade
K Spider Assembly
L Retaining Ring
M Diffuser
N Outer Spider Assembly
O Outer Shade
P Thumb Screw (2)
1. Place Shade (J) into notches of spider assembly (K).
2. Lower outer spider assembly (N) until it rests on top of
shade (J).
3. Align holes in spider assembly (K) and outer spider assem-
bly (N).
4. Install thumb screws (P) to attach spider assembly to outer
spider assembly (N).
5. Lower outer shade (O) until it rests in the brackets of the
outer spider assembly (N).
6. Lift the assembled shade and spider assemblies over the
socket assembly (I) until it stops.
7. Thread retaining ring (L) on socket until snug against spider
assembly (K).
8. Slip Glass Diffuser (M) curved side up at an angle into spi-
der assembly (K) and rotate to rest on the arms. It may be
necessary to flex on support arm slightly to install diffuser.
9. Restore electricity at main breaker box.
