このたびは、LCD フード HL-E2500（以下液晶
モニタフード）をお買い上げいただき、ありがと
うございます。本製品は、ニコンデジタルカメラ
COOLPIX2500 専用の液晶モニタフードです。
液晶モニタ部分をおおって周囲からの光を防ぐの
で、屋外の明るい場所でも液晶モニタの画像を見
やすくすることができます。また、使用しないと
きは、簡単に取り外すことができます。

使用していただき、あなたや他の人々への危害や

表示と意味は次のようになっています。

■ 使用上のご注意
• 使用時にはフード部分を持たず、カメラをしっ
かりと持ってください。フード部分を持つと、カ
メラが落下し、破損する恐れがあります。
• 液晶モニタフードを取り付けたまま、 カメラを
持ち歩かないでください。 液晶モニタフードの
脱落、破損の原因となります。カメラをご使用
にならないときは、 液晶モニタフードを取り外
してください。
• 窓を閉め切った自動車の中や直射日光が当たる
場所など、異常に温度が高くなる場所に放置し
ないでください。変色、変形の原因になります。
• 長期間フード部を間折りたたんだ状態で保管し
ないでください。変形の原因になります。
この表示を無視して、誤った取り扱いを
すると、人が死亡または重傷を負う可能
性が想定される内容を示しています。

Thank you for purchasing the LCD Hood HL-E2500. De-
signed for use only with the Nikon COOLPIX2500 Digi-
tal Camera, it surrounds the LCD monitor to block out
light, offering a clear view of the monitor even in bright
daylight. When not in use, it can be easily detached and
folded for compact storage.
Safety precautions
To ensure proper operation, read this leaflet before us-
ing this product, and be sure to keep it where it can be
seen by all those who use the product.

Keep out of reach of children
Particular care should be taken to prevent infants from
putting small parts of the product in their mouths.
Precautions in use
• Always hold the camera by its body, never by the hood.
The hood may accidentally separate from the camera body,
allowing the camera to fall and suffer possible damage.
• Do not walk around holding the camera with the hood
attached. The hood may fall from the camera and be
damaged. Always remove the hood from the camera
when the camera is not in use.
• Do not store the hood in areas exposed to extreme
temperatures, for example, near a space heater or in a
closed vehicle on a hot day, or it may become discol-
ored or deformed.
• Do not store the hood folded for long periods of time,
or it may become deformed.
Attaching the hood
1 Insert the tunnel portion into the frame, fitting the pro-
jections into the indentations on the frame (Figure 1).
2 Place the top of the frame (the end without a ridge on
the inside) on top of the camera (i.e., on the same face
as the shutter-release button and mode selector) as
shown in Figure 2-a. Making sure to line up the tunnel
portion with the camera monitor, snap the bottom of
the frame (the ridged end) onto the camera body so
that the ridge fits into the tripod socket on the bot-
tom of the camera (Figure 2-b).
Removing the hood
To remove the hood, reverse the order of steps for
attaching the hood. Insert your finger under the bot-
tom of the frame and gently pull downwards until the
ridge is removed from the tripod socket, then remove
the frame from the camera (Figure 3).
Folding up the hood (for carrying)
Remove the hood from the frame, and fold the LCD
Hood as shown in Figure 4.

■ 取り付け方
1 フードを取付フレームにはめ込みます。 フード
の突起部を取付フレームのへこみ部に差し込ん
でください（図 1） 。
2 取付フレームの上部（内側に突起のない側）をカ
メラのシャッターボタンとスライドスイッチの
間に合わせて（図 2-a） 、液晶モニタがフードで
覆われるように位置を合わせ、取付フレームの
下部（内側に突起のある側） （図 2-b）をカメラ
ボディの下部にはめます。このとき取付フレー
ム下部の突起がカメラの三脚ネジ穴に差し込ま
れるように位置を合わせてください（図 2） 。
■ 取り外し方
取り付け方と逆の手順で行います。 取り付けフ
レーム下部にある指掛かりを引き、 カメラの三
脚取り付け穴から突起を抜いてカメラボディか
ら取付フレームをはずしてください（図 3） 。
■ 携帯時の折りたたみ方
液晶モニタフードを携帯する場合は、フード
を取付けフレームから取り外して折りたたむ
ことができます（図 4） 。
