replacing the black nylon Glides

the black Nylon glides allow the Driver frame to slide

back and forth smoothly and also prevents it from

scratching the grill surface area.

Depending on the model, the glides are attached to the

Driver frame or to the unit itself (see figure 6 and 6a).

the glides eventually wear down with normal use

and will require replacement as needed.

nOte: failure to replace missing/worn glides will

result in permanent Grill surface and Driver frame

Damage, nOt covered by warranty.

HDC-21a/35a Only: Remove the four Retainer Rings

and glides (figure 6). Install new glides and secure with

Retainer Rings.

HDC-20/30a/50a Only: using a small screwdriver, pry

the four glides up and out of the unit (figure 6a). Push

the new glides into the unit.
