DVD Setup Menu Options

Switching the YUV/RGB

This setting allows you to toggle the

output of the video signal between RGB

(on scart) and Component(YUV).

A

In ‘Video Setup Page’, use   keys to

highlight {COMPONENT}, then press .

YUV - Select this for Y Pb Pr connection

RGB - Select this for SCART connection

S-Video - Select this for S-Video (S-VHS)

connection

B

Use   keys to press OK to confirm

your selection.

Warning:

When the player is set to Y Pb Pr (YUV),

some TV may not properly synchronise

with player on the SCART connector.

HDMI Setup

The options included in HDMI Setup is :

‘Resolution’.

In {VIDEO SETUP PAGE}, press  to

highlight{HDMI Setup}, then press .

B

Press  to highlight an option.

C

Enter its submenu by pressing  .

D

Pressto select a setting, then press

OK to confirm your selection.

Resolution

You can select the resolution of the

picture according to your preference and

the connected HDMI TV.

480p: Progressive output in 480 lines for

NTSC TV.

576p: Progressive output in 576 lines for

PAL TV.

720p: Progressive output upscale to 720

lines.

1080i: Interlaced output upscale to 1080

lines.

1080p: Progressive output upscale to

1080 lines.

Auto: Output automatically based on

your display’s supported resolution.

Helpful Hint:

Select AUTO to automatically display the

best resolutions settings.

If not display appears on the TV screen

due to unsupported resolution, reconnect

any available interlace video output to

your display and re-adjust the resolution

settings to 480p/576p.
