stalled by an electrician in accordance
with IEC 60364-1.

„

When power comes back suddenly af-
ter a power failure, then the plant can
get switched on in an uncontrolled man-
ner. Hence, when there is power fail-
ure: Switch off the plant.

„

Never direct the water jet on human be-
ings, animals, the appliance or electrical
parts.

„

Cordon off the working area to prevent
persons coming close to the machine
when it is being operated.

„

Before starting any work on the system
and after the work is concluded, release
the pressure. For this, pull the lever of
the handspray gun when the system is
switched off.

„

The following parts of the system and
their accessories are subject to high wa-
ter pressure. These elements must be
tested for damages prior to each use of
the system:

– Pump head
– high pressure hose
– High-pressure pipes including all fittings
– Hand-spray gun with spray pipe
„

Please ensure that screw connections
of all connection hoses and pipes are
not leaky. Only use undamaged screw
connections recommended by the man-
ufacturer.

„

Only use undamaged high-pressure
hoses recommended by the manufac-
turer.

„

With hot water systems, the following
assemblies become very hot during op-
eration. Do not touch:

– Pump unit
– Continuous heater

– Exhaust pipe
– Hot water input/outlet
Let the system cool before performing
maintenance procedures.

„

The plant should not be operated in
rooms that run the risk of explosions.
This excludes only the plants that are
explicitly meant and earmarked for the
same.

„

Do not use explosive, highly flammable
or toxic substances for cleaning, such
as

– petrol
– heating oil or diesel fuel
– solvents
– liquids containing solvents
– Undiluted, strong acids and alkalies
– acetone
This excludes only expressly marked sys-
tems intended for these. If you are unsure,
ask the manufacturer.
With systems that are approved for the use
of flammable detergents, the detergents
must be kept away from ignition sources.
„

Gas-fueled systems must only be in-
stalled and started up by approved ex-
pert companies

„

There is a recoil pressure arising from
the water jet that comes out from the
spray pipe. The angular spray pipe
brings about an upward force. Hold the
gun and the spray pipe tightly.
Choose a safe place to stand, assume
a secure body stance to avoid being
thrown off-balance by the recoil pres-
sure of the jet pistol.

„

The lever of the hand spray gun must
not be locked during the operation.
