ˎ ˎ Lassen Sie zwischen dem Gerät und dem
Schalthebel einen ausreichenden Abstand, damit die
Hände oder der Schalthebel beim Betätigen des
Schalthebels nicht das Gerät oder das Smartphone
berühren.
Hinweise zum Montagewinkel

Abnehmen der Halterung ( )
Nehmen Sie vor dem Installieren des Geräts die
Halterung
 vom Gerät ab.
1 Führen Sie die Freigabeschlüssel  gleichzeitig
in die Verriegelungen zwischen dem Gerät und
der Halterung
 ein, bis sie hörbar einrasten.

Ziehen Sie die Halterung  nach unten und dann
das Gerät nach oben, um die beiden zu trennen.
Montieren des Geräts ( )

1 Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Installieren, dass
die Verriegelungen an beiden Seiten der
Halterung
 um 3,5 mm nach innen gebogen

Hinweis
Wenn die Verriegelungen gerade oder nach außen gebogen sind,
lässt sich das Gerät nicht sicher installieren und kann herausspringen.
-B Montieren des Geräts in einem
japanischen Fahrzeug
Das Gerät lässt sich bei einigen japanischen
Fahrzeugmodellen möglicherweise ohne die
mitgelieferte Halterung einbauen. Falls dies nicht
möglich ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Sony-
Händler.
Wenn Sie das Gerät in die vorinstallierten Halterungen
des Fahrzeugs einbauen, drehen Sie die mitgelieferten
Schrauben
 in die für Ihr Fahrzeug geeigneten
Schraubenbohrungen: T für TOYOTA, M für MITSUBISHI
und N für NISSAN.

Precautions
ˎ ˎ Choose the installation location carefully so that the
unit will not interfere with normal driving operations.
ˎ ˎ Avoid installing the unit in areas subject to dust, dirt,
excessive vibration, or high temperature, such as in
direct sunlight or near heater ducts.
ˎ ˎ Use only the supplied mounting hardware for a safe
and secure installation.
ˎ ˎ To prevent hands or the shift lever touching the unit
or smartphone when operating the shift lever, keep
an adequate distance between the unit and the shift
lever.
Mounting angle adjustment
ˎ ˎ Mounting in a downward direction is not supported.
ˎ ˎ Adjust the mounting angle to less than 45°.
Removing the bracket ( )
Before installing the unit, remove the bracket 
from the unit.
1 Insert the release keys  into the catches
between the unit and the bracket  at the same
time until they click.
2 Pull down the bracket , then pull up the unit to
separate them.
Mounting the unit ( )
-A Mounting the unit with the supplied
bracket
1 Before installing, make sure that the catches on
both sides of the bracket
 are bent inwards 3.5
mm.
2 Position the supplied bracket  inside the
dashboard.

Bend the claws outward for a tight fit.
4 Mount the unit onto the supplied bracket .
Note
If the catches are straight or bent outwards, the unit will not be
installed securely and may spring out.
-B Mounting the unit in a Japanese car
You may be able to install this unit in some makes of
Japanese cars without the supplied bracket. If you
cannot, consult your Sony dealer.
When mounting this unit to the preinstalled brackets
of your car, use the supplied screws
 in the
appropriate screw holes, based on your car: T for
TOYOTA, M for MITSUBISHI and N for NISSAN.
Note
To avoid a malfunction, install only with the supplied screws
.
Warning if your car’s ignition has
no ACC position
Be sure to set the AUTO OFF function. For details, see
the supplied Operating Instructions.
The unit will shut off completely and automatically in
the set time after the unit is turned off, which prevents
battery drain.
If you do not set the AUTO OFF function, press and
hold OFF until the display disappears each time you
turn the ignition off.
Fuse replacement ( )
When replacing the fuse, be sure to use one matching
the amperage rating stated on the original fuse. If the
fuse blows, check the power connection and replace
the fuse. If the fuse blows again after replacement,
there may be an internal malfunction. In such a case,
consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Installing the microphone ( )
To capture your voice during handsfree calling, you
need to install the microphone
.
Cautions
ˎ ˎ Keep the microphone away from extremely high
temperatures and humidity.
ˎ ˎ It is extremely dangerous if the cord becomes
wound around the steering column or gearstick. Be
sure to keep it and other parts from obstructing your
driving.
ˎ ˎ If airbags or any other shock-absorbing equipment
is in your car, contact the store where you purchased
this unit, or the car dealer, before installation.

Install clips (not supplied) and adjust the length and
position of the cord so that it does not obstruct your
driving.

Aktivieren Sie unbedingt die Abschaltautomatik (AUTO

Nach dem Ausschalten wird das Gerät dann nach der
voreingestellten Zeit automatisch vollständig
abgeschaltet, so dass der Autobatterie kein Strom
mehr entzogen wird.
Wenn Sie die Abschaltautomatik (AUTO OFF) nicht
aktivieren, müssen Sie jedes Mal, wenn Sie die
Zündung ausschalten, die Taste OFF gedrückt halten,
bis die Anzeige ausgeblendet wird.
Austauschen der Sicherung ( )
Wenn Sie eine Sicherung austauschen, achten Sie
darauf, eine Ersatzsicherung mit dem gleichen
Ampere-Wert wie die Originalsicherung zu
verwenden. Dieser ist auf der Originalsicherung
angegeben. Wenn die Sicherung durchbrennt,
überprüfen Sie den Stromanschluss und tauschen die
Sicherung aus. Brennt die neue Sicherung ebenfalls
durch, kann eine interne Fehlfunktion vorliegen.

Il est possible d’installer cet appareil dans certaines
voitures japonaises sans le support fourni. Dans le cas
contraire, consultez votre revendeur Sony agréé.
Si vous installez cet appareil sur les supports
préinstallés de votre véhicule, faites passer les vis
fournies
 par les trous de vis appropriés, en fonction
de votre véhicule : T pour TOYOTA, M pour MITSUBISHI
et N pour NISSAN.
Remarque
Pour éviter tout dysfonctionnement, utilisez uniquement les vis

Avertissement au cas où le
contact de votre voiture ne
dispose pas d’une position ACC
Veillez à régler la fonction AUTO OFF (arrêt

L’appareil s’éteint alors complètement et
automatiquement à l’issue d’un délai défini une fois

tipi di auto giapponesi senza utilizzare la staffa in

Durante il montaggio del presente apparecchio sulle
staffe preinstallate dell’auto, inserire le viti in
dotazione

Avvertenza relativa
all’installazione su un’auto

Accertarsi di impostare la funzione AUTO OFF. Per
ulteriori informazioni, fare riferimento alle istruzioni

L’apparecchio si spegne completamente e in modo
automatico dopo l’intervallo di tempo impostato dal
relativo spegnimento, per evitare lo scaricamento
della batteria.
Se non viene impostata la funzione AUTO OFF, tenere
premuto OFF fino alla disattivazione del display ogni
volta che si spegne il motore.
Sostituzione del fusibile ( )
Per la sostituzione del fusibile, assicurarsi di utilizzare
un fusibile dello stesso amperaggio di quello indicato
sull’originale. Se il fusibile si brucia, controllare i
collegamenti dell’alimentazione e sostituire il fusibile.
Se dopo la sostituzione il fusibile si brucia di nuovo, è
possibile che si tratti di un problema interno. In tal
caso, rivolgersi al più vicino rivenditore Sony.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Maximale montagehoek
ˎ ˎ Het apparaat kan niet in een neerwaartse hoek
geïnstalleerd worden.
ˎ ˎ Installeer het apparaat nooit in een hoek van meer
dan 45° met het horizontale vlak.
De beugel verwijderen ( )
Voordat u het apparaat gaat installeren, moet u de
beugel
 verwijderen van het apparaat.
1 Plaats de ontgrendelingssleutels  tegelijkertijd
in de grepen tussen het toestel en de beugel 
tot ze vastklikken.

Trek de beugel  omlaag en trek vervolgens de
unit omhoog zodat ze worden gescheiden.
Het apparaat installeren ( )
-A Het apparaat installeren met de
bijgeleverde beugel
1 Voordat u het apparaat installeert, moet u de
grepen aan beide zijden van de beugel
 3,5
mm naar binnen buigen.
2 Plaats de bijgeleverde beugel  binnen in het
dashboard.
3 Buig de klauwen naar buiten voor een stevige
bevestiging.

Monteer de unit op de bijgeleverde beugel .
Opmerking
Als de grepen recht zijn of naar buiten gebogen, kan het apparaat
niet goed worden bevestigd en kan het losschieten.
-B Het apparaat in een Japanse auto
installeren
In bepaalde merken Japanse auto’s kunt u dit
apparaat mogelijk installeren zonder de bijgeleverde
beugel. Als dit niet het geval is, neemt u contact op
met uw Sony-handelaar.
Wanneer u deze unit op de vooraf-geïnstalleerde
beugels van uw auto monteert, gebruik dan de
bijgeleverde schroeven
 in de bijbehorende
schroefgaten, afhankelijk van het merk van uw auto: T
voor TOYOTA, M voor MITSUBISHI en N voor NISSAN.
Opmerking
Voorkom defecten, installeer het apparaat alleen met de bijgeleverde
schroeven
.
Waarschuwing als het contactslot
van de auto geen ACC-positie
heeft
Zorg ervoor dat de AUTO OFF-functie ingesteld is.
Raadpleeg de bijgeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing voor
meer informatie.
Hiermee wordt het apparaat na de ingestelde
tijdsduur automatisch volledig uitgeschakeld nadat u
het apparaat hebt uitgeschakeld. Zo voorkomt u dat
de accu leegraakt.
Als u de AUTO OFF-functie niet instelt, houdt u OFF
ingedrukt tot het scherm verdwijnt wanneer u het
contactslot uitzet.
Zekering vervangen ( )
Vervang een zekering altijd door een exemplaar van
eenzelfde ampèrage als op de oorspronkelijke
zekering wordt vermeld. Als de zekering doorbrandt,
moet u de voedingsaansluiting controleren en de
zekering vervangen. Brandt de zekering vervolgens
nogmaals door, dan kan er sprake zijn van een defect
in het apparaat. Raadpleeg in dat geval de Sony-
dealer bij u in de buurt.
De microfoon installeren ( )
Voor het registreren van uw stem tijdens het
handsfree bellen moet u de microfoon
 installeren.
Waarschuwingen
ˎ ˎ Stel de microfoon niet bloot aan extreem hoge
temperaturen en vochtigheid.
ˎ ˎ Het is zeer gevaarlijk als het snoer verstrikt raakt
rondom de stuurkolom of versnellingspook. Zorg
ervoor dat het snoer en de andere onderdelen u niet
hinderen tijdens het autorijden.
ˎ ˎ Als de auto is uitgerust met airbags of andere
schokabsorberende apparatuur, moet u contact
opnemen met de winkel waar u dit product hebt
gekocht, of met de autodealer, voordat u het
product installeert.
