You cannot display data on “Memory Stick” media
B The data installed with Install tool in the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ
software will be saved in the /PALM/Launcher folder on “Memory
Stick” media. If the application in your CLIÉ handheld cannot access this
folder although the installation was successful, the data will not be
displayed. Copy the data on “Memory Stick” media to your CLIÉ handheld
using
Memory Stick Gate .
b For details on folder names on “Memory Stick” media that can be referred to
by each application, refer to “On files stored in “Memory Stick” media” in the
“CLIÉ Application Manual” installed in your computer.
Moreover, for any third-party applications, contact the manufacturer of that
software.
Use Memory Stick Import / Memory Stick Export to install data
from your computer to “Memory Stick” media.
“Memory Stick” media is not recognized or some errors
occur
B Eject “Memory Stick” media and try inserting it again.
B If the terminals of “Memory Stick” media are dirty, the data on “Memory
Stick” media cannot be read or written. Wipe the terminals with a soft
cloth, such as a cotton swab.
B You cannot use “Memory Stick” media previously formatted on a device
other than your CLIÉ handheld. Format “Memory Stick” media on your
CLIÉ handheld.
B If the battery power of your CLIÉ handheld is insufficient, data on
“Memory Stick” media may not be displayed. In such a case, charge the
battery of your CLIÉ handheld.
